My family and I are doing great. Situation could be better without the pandemic but I believe this shall pass eventually.
HILLTOP was formed in 2020, at the start of the pandemic. I have realized that many businesses were trying to outsource their services in order to reduce their overhead costs while still being able to efficiently conduct operations. This was an opportunity for HILLTOP to provide business solutions and consultation to small-medium enterprises while guiding them with survival strategies to ride through the pandemic crisis.
We perform thorough study and analysis on the modus operandi of our clients while searching high and low for loopholes to further improve the business approach. We identify innovative solutions with the purpose of sustaining or increasing the revenue generation. It is also crucial for us to study the flaws and inconveniences existing in the company, allowing us to eliminate them and introduce improvements. Traditional sales and marketing mechanism is not very effective post-pandemic. Therefore, an alteration to the business mechanism and strategy needs to be conducted – this is where HILLTOP steps in.
As previously mentioned, HILLTOP was formed during the pandemic aiming to be a complementing factor to the businesses suffering due to the global crisis. With the businesses needing the support, we come up with a wide-angle lens and provide improvised strategies – all within a really affordable service fees. We managed to cope by understanding the perspectives and needs of our clients, and deciding what exactly is best for them.
Yes, of course. In every business, there are always times that you come to a crossroad where you are equally split into two. Yet, you still have to choose – left or right. Just need to stand back, take a breath, and you will see what you’re missing. And that’s where you go.
Lessons? – The most important one was adaptability. It was very important for us to be flexible enough, not only for our own sake but for also for the sake of our clients. We needed to understand them, their needs and wants, and turn their weaknesses into strengths. Also, this pandemic really brought all the tech-savvy minds out to play. If businesses couldn’t adapt to the new trends, they were gonna miss out on a huge part of the new world. And HILLTOP was the red carpet that showed them (our clients) that.
We are actively using applications such as Asana to manage an effective workflow, while Zoom and Google Meet were used for the team to stay connected.
With all the things happening all around us, stress can be a destructive feeling, which could eventually lead to burnout. This was something that HILLTOP took seriously. The management threw in a whole lot of trust to the team – it was not easy but it proved to be a lot more efficient. Despite working remotely, we could see productive progress getting done by the team.
We do not monitor nor study our competitors. HILLTOP believes in the services and values that are being offered to our clients. With the consistent conduct of research, HILLTOP is able to continuously prioritize the satisfaction of our clients.
During this pandemic, we have seen many businesses lacking the innovation and diversification skills in order to adapt to the ongoing world crisis – resulting some of them in bankruptcy, voluntary shutdown, and so on. This proves how crucial it is to have alternative strategies, all to keep alive.
